With over 15 years of experience in direct response fundraising, working both internally at nonprofits and as a consultant, Joel brings a unique perspective to MKDM’s clients. He has a deep background in membership-based fundraising and engagement, especially for environmental and human rights organizations, with a strong focus on membership program growth, stewardship, and donor retention.
As Accountant Director at MKDM, Joel develops successful direct mail and digital campaigns from initial conceptualization to final reporting. He collaborates closely with his clients and manages the many facets of their fundraising programs, which include copywriting, creative and messaging development, data analysis, and strategic planning.
Joel graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and a minor in German.
